Design Board
The design journey began with the aim of creating a spacious and airy living area that exudes luxury while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. We selected a neutral colour palette with accents of rich green and subtle gold to evoke a sense of calm and opulence.
Central to the design is the use of plush grey sofas, complemented by deep green armchairs and ottomans. This seating arrangement provides ample space for relaxation and social gatherings. The choice of velvet upholstery not only adds a touch of luxury but also enhances the tactile experience.
To maximise natural light, we incorporated large windows and a stunning skylight that floods the room with daylight. This feature not only brightens the space but also creates a connection with the outdoors, bringing a refreshing and dynamic element to the interior.
Bespoke TV Unit
A standout feature of this design is the bespoke joinery for the TV unit. Custom-built to fit the space perfectly, the TV unit is flanked by elegant built-in shelves that provide both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The backlit shelves highlight decorative items and offer a sophisticated backdrop for the large flat-screen television, ensuring the entertainment area is both functional and stylish.
Lighting
A blend of modern and classic lighting fixtures, including sleek chandeliers and stylish table lamps, illuminates the space. These lighting choices create a warm and inviting ambience in the evening, while the strategically placed lamps add layers of light and depth.
Flooring
The flooring, laid in a herringbone pattern, adds visual interest and a sense of continuity throughout the space. The natural wood tones complement the overall colour scheme, enhancing the room’s warm and welcoming feel.
To complete the design, we incorporated thoughtful touches such as green potted plants and elegant decorative pieces. These elements bring a touch of nature indoors and add a personal, lived-in feel to the luxurious setting.
